Greetings from Uganda on New Years Eve !!

Today the first of the computer lab tables arrived.  A few modifications were needed but we hope to have them all tomorrow so we can begin setting things up.  The Internet feed has been ordered but the installation date is still pending.  It will now be Monday before we know when we will have a full-time broadband connection.  Keep praying for great favour with the installers so the connection comes soon.

In the mean time, we are using Robert's dial-up connection to keep you posted.  It is a little slow but we are managing prety well.  While I work on the lab, Terry and Ron are painting house 2.  They have completed a primer and top coat in one bedroom and are painting grass and sky in the common area. I suspect thee is days of painting left to complete two full houses.

Cameron was invited to help in bible class today.  He selected a section of John and teamed up with Joshua to deliver the verses.

As I write you there is wonderful music echoing through the whole neighbourhood from the church where they have been running a local conference all week.  Tonight is an all-night meeting for New Years and we hope we can manage to stay up all night with the others ... send strong coffee please (grin)
